RBFS Fundamentals Training Course

The RBFS Fundamentals training presentations are designed to help you become intimately familiar with RtBrick FullStack (RBFS).

RBFS Introduction

The following presentation explains the overall RBFS architecture and introduces the main components. It also describes the supported hardware platforms.

The CLI introduction presentation explains how to access the RBFS system via command line interface, how to navigate on the CLI, and how to configure interfaces.

Routing

OSPF

The following presentations introduces Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) routing protocol and explains how to configure and monitor it in RBFS. The presentation includes OSPFv2 and OSPFv3.

IS-IS

The following presentations introduces IS-IS routing protocol and explains how to configure and monitor it in RBFS.

BGP

The following presentations provides an introduction to Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) covering external BGP as well as internal BGP. The presentation explains how to configure and monitor BGP in RBFS. The presentation also includes an introduction to the policy framework and provides some BGP-related examples.

MPLS and MPLS VPN Services

This presentation covers MPLS signaling protocols (e.g., LDP and Segment Routing) as well as BGP/MPLS VPN services.

Subscriber Management

The following presentation provides an introduction to subscriber management including PPPoE, L2TP and IPoE, and also covers RADIUS services. The presentation explains how to configure and monitor subscriber management in RBFS.

The CGNAT presentation explains the operation of Network Address Translation and how to configure it in RBFS.
